The Wakatipu was floated out of the graving dock yesterday afternoon, and sailed in the evening for Sydney via Lyttelton and Wellington. A few more day 3 will see the barque Auriga all clear of her cargo of guano. The Rotorua, from the North, arrived at Dunedin at 0.45 p.m. to-day. She left Wellington on the 26th inst. and reached Lyttelton at 11 a.m. next day; left at 9 p.m. same day, and had strong S.W. winds to arrival. H.M.S. Mildura will be in Lyttelton during Carnival Week in Christchurcb. The ship Agnes Lilian, from London for this port, is anchored outside the Heads. The barque Mary Moore, from Lady Elliott Island, with guano, was reported six miles off the Heads at 3 p.m. yesterday. At the time it was blowing a strong S.W. breeze, and at 5 p.m.' Captain M'Callum telephoned to Captain Lowden, signal-master at the Heads, who.reported that the barque had shortened sail and was standing in towards Waikouaiti, some distance further North than she was at 3 p.m. She, however, reached port to-day, and was towed up to Dunedin this afternoon. VISITS TO THE LIGHTHOUSES. The C.G.S. Hinemoa is expected to leave Wellington to-morrow (the 29th) for Southern ports and lighthouses, arriving here about the 2nd prox.
