POST OFFICE NOTICES.
Mails close at the Chief Post Office, Dunedin (subject to any necessary alterations), && under:— Overland, North, daily, 10.30 a.m. Late letters, mail van, 11 a.m. Friday, October 8. For Lyttelton and Ohristchurch.—Per Rotorua, at 2 p.m.
Mails for Fiji, per Flora, will close at Auckland on the Sth October, at 1 p.m. Mails for Norfolk Island, per May Howard, close at Auckland on the 11th October. M:iils for Noumea, Fiji, and New Hebrides will leave Sydney on the 12th October. Mails close at Invereargill for Cromarty, Puysegur, and Tuanarca on the Mtb, at noon. (Signed) Edm.
