A short time since a Mr Knott was tried v^a ' J ‘ on of the law. The verdict was ; _We find the defendant Knott guilty.’ The Judge was at a loss whether to sentence h.mornot. ■ Everybody should join Montague’s Circulating Library subscription, 2s 6d per quarter. New books added weekly. Splendid winter reading.
