A report was presented by the Industrial Commission appointed by the Transvaal Government, which recommended that a board be appointed on the Rand goldfields to supervise the carrying out of liquor laws, and pass a law for the prevention of gold thefts. Such a measure is unlikely to pass the Volksraad during the present session.,
