PORT CHALMERS, ARRIVED.— August 19. Napier, s.s., 48 tons, Matheson, from Waikawa. SAlLED.—August 19. Tokomaru, s.s., 6,238 tons, Maxwell, for London via Lyttelton and Wellington. August 20. Brunner, s.s., 352 tons, Spence, for Napier via the Bluff. Te Anau, s.s., 1,028 tons, Bernech, for Lyttelton and Wellington. Passengers: Misses Moller and Hutchison, Mesdames Munro, Green and family (3), Messrs Langton, Apperley, Rennert, E. A. Robinson, H. Heymanson, Greenslade (2), Poole; thirteen in the steerage. The s.s. Napier, with cargo from the South, arrived at Dunedin wharf at 8 a.m. to-day. She left Waikawa at 1.30 p.m. yesterday, and had lifjht N.E. winds and moderate weather to arrival. The s.s. Brunner left Dunedin wharf this afternoon for Napier via the Bluff and Northern porta. The s.s. Te Anau left the tongue wharf at 3 p.m. to-day for Lyttelton and Wellington. The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company’s steamer Tokomaru reft tho George street pier at 5 p.m. yesterday for London via Lyttelton and Wellington. Her cargo from Port Chalmers consisted of 8,270 carcasses frozen mutton, 2,104 crates frozen rabbits, 114 bales wool, 95 bales rabbitsldns, 8 bales basils. 400 cases preserved meats, 5 casks pelts, and I case sundries.
