SENOR CANOVAS'S FUNERAL.
The funeral of Senor Canovos took place at Madrid on Saturday. The pallbearers ineluded benor Sagasta, leader of the Liberal party, and Marshal Campos. An immense assemblago witnessed the ceremonies, and prefound emotion was displayed. The route taken by the ccrtigc was carpeted with laurels. When the shell containing the' body was leaving the mortuary chamber benora Canovas exclaimed: "I forgive the assassin because I know Senor Canovas had a great heart!"
