The Waikare was floated out of the graving dock on Saturday night, and her place taken up by the Monowai, which met with a.slight mishap in entering the Bluff Harbor on-Friday, and was docked for sighting. ...-'"■ The Morayshire, which left the George street pier yesterday afternoon for London, took the following cargo: 495 bales wool and skins, 3,611 Racks oats, IbO casks pelts, 450 casks tallow, 21 cases casings, 5 packages sundries, 78 cases kidneys, 150 crates hares, 7,892 crates rabbits, and 31,908 carcasses mutton. Of this she took on board at Timaru 107 bales, 89 casks pelts, 450 casks tallow, 78 cases kidneys, 50 cases hares, and 13,673 carcasses mutton. -At Oamaru: 58 bales, 21 cases casings, 2 packages sundries, 100 crates hares, 2,510 crates rabbits, and 9,065 carcasses mutton. At Port Chalmers: 330 bales, 3,611 aacks oats, 71 casks pelts, 3 packages sundries, 5,382 crates rabbits, and 9,170 carcasses mutton. The s.s. Mararoa, with passengers and cargo from Sydney via Cook Strait, arrived at the tongue wharf at 5.30 p.m. on Saturday. Mr Nancarrow, the purser, reports that she left the Union bteain Ship Company's wharf at Sydney at 1.40 p.m. on the 7th inst., experienced strong easterly'gales with high seas, and breasted Cape Farewell at 8.14 a.m. on the 11th inst.; passed Stephens island at 11.10 a.m., and arrived at Wellington at 4 p.m. same day. She left tor the South at midnight on the 12th inst., had light winds with fine weather, and arrived at Lyttelton * p i m - ? n the , l3th inst - She pushed on again at midnight for headquarters, encountered strong southerly and south-west winds with high seas aloDg the coast, and arrived as above. The Monowai will be floated out of the graving dock on this evening's tide. The Westralia, from Sydney via the East Coast ports, arrived at Dunedin wharf at 5 p.m. yesterterday. She left Sydney on the 4th inst, arrived a lu u ~a nd on tbe 9tIl « and left "gain on the 10th, calling at Gisborne On the 11th, Napier on the 12th, Wellington on the 13th, and Lyttelton on the 14th; left the latter port at 10 p.m. on Saturday and arrived as above; experienced h.S.h. winds and heavy swell the Three Kinga on the Bth, tnence to Gisborne an easterly gale and heavy head seas and thick rainy weather, and variable winds and moderate weather to arrival. The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company's ship \\ estland (Captain R. Kelly) is on the loading berth at London for this port.
