INDUSTRIAL CONFERENCE.

CHRISTCHURCH. August 12. The Industrial Conference conoluded their labors yesterday. The rules of incorporation were confirmed and the following resolution passed :—" That the secretary of the corporation advise . the manufacturers and others of Otago. and Auokland of the inauguration of their corporation, and that a cordial invitation be extended to such of the manufacturers,"etc., to form industrial associations and join in the corporation." The Wellington 'delegates— Messrs S. Brown, Hutson, and Biss—were entertained at a banquet last night, at which 200 were present, comprising prominent representative men of Canterbury. The proceedings were most enthusiastic. The delegates are now engaged inspecting the various industries.
