The amount of revenue collected at the Customhouse on goods cleared for consumption to-day was £1,204 3s 6d. MINING NOTES. On dit that the Barewood mine has been acquired by an English company, who undertake to find a working capital of £4,000, the vendors retaining a large interest in the property. The Golden Run Company washed up on Friday, giving 260z 4dwt 9gr. The Morning Star (Preservation Inlet) Company have declared another dividend of Is per share. The secretary of the Clyde Dredging Company, Limited, reports a yield on Saturday (partial wash-up) of 460z 7dwt. The dredge started work on the previous Tuesday. The Dunedin dredge obtained lOoz 18dwt 3gr gold for three days’ dredging last week. The Upper Waipori Alluvial Gold Dredging Company, Limited, obtained from No.. 1 dredge 19oz sdwt of gold for 186 hours’ dredging; and from No. 2 dredge 15oz lldwt of gold for 140 hours’ dredging last week. The Jutland Flat (Waipori) Gold Mining ComEany, Limited, obtained Z7oz lOdwt of gold for 134 ours’ wages time (130 hours’ actual dredging) last week. Auckland, June 15.—The Anglo-Continental Company have completed negotiations for the purchase of the British Gold and Silver Mining Company’s property at Pubipuhi.
