COLONIAL PREMIERS AT HOME.
(fait Paras Association.—Copyright.] LONDON, Jcnh 13. The colonial Premiers, with their wives and families, paid a visit to Liverpool yesterday, and were cordially welcomed by the Lord Mayor, the Right. Hon. Alderman Thomas Hughes. Chief Justice Way (South Australia) accompanied the party. The Duke of Devonshire delivered an address at the United Empire League's luncheon to the Premiers. He defined the aims of the League as being colouial expansion and consolidation, which he hold to be absolutely essential to Britain's prosperity. Sir G. Turner, in seconding the vote of thanks to the League, was accorded an ovatiou.
