MILITARY TOURNAMENT.
At the military tournament at the Royal Agricultural Hall, London, the New South Wales Lancers again distinguished themselves, Sergeant Williams winning the first prize and a gold medal for tent-pegging, and Trooper Harkus the first prize and gold medal for lemon-cutting. In the riding and jumping contests for colonial troops Privates Taplin and Barton, of the New South Wales Mounted Rifles, secured first and second honors. ______________
