DUNEDIN CITY MISSION.

The monthly meeting of Committee was held on vVednesday at the Bible Depot, George street, when the following were present:—Messrs Geo. M. Thomson (chairman), Archibald Uarr, George Ileid, T. N. Wilson, -1. A. D. Adams, I). Wright, K. Rosevear (hon. treasurer), and Captain. Thomson.

After opening with prayer and confirmation of minutes of last meeting, the following items were reported upon by the missionary :

The attendance at Bible reading classes in State Schools keeps well up, anrl the interest by pupils and friends increases. Onr best week since last report wa3 : High street 1-21, Albany <treet 100, George street 100, Arthur street 100. The appeal made through the Press for gifts of Bibles, to be kept in the various schools and used in these classes, had been prompt and liberal. The missionary waa now in a position to place 100 copies of the Scriptures in each of four sohools visited by him, and he hopes soon to have another 100 for the fifth school on his list.

The attendant at Russell street Mission Rail on Sunday evenings has been excellent. The largest during the month was 100, and the smallest (on the evening of the snow storm) was 40. The offerings for the month amounted to'i'l ss. To all who have assisted in many ways the Committee offer thanks.

\a addition to almost daily visitations, Mr Wright had assisted in services. at St. Clair Congregational Church and Pise. Hill, and visited the Sunday schools at the Tabernacle, Baptist. Church, and Gsjsfison Hall.
