FRIENDLY SOCIETY.
At the ordinary fortnightly meeting of Court Pride of Duuedin, A.Q.F., held in the Oddfellows' Hall, Rattray street, on Tuesday evening, the quarterly balance-sheet and auditor's report were read by Auditor Bro. W. E. Munro, showing that the court continues in c very prosperous state, notwithstanding the heavy claims paid for sick and funeral allowances (£135). ' 4 balance of over £6l was carried to the reserve fund, which now stands at £7,930 193 2d—equal to £32 16s per member. During the evening one candidate was in i tl a ted and two others proposed for membership. Visitors were present from Court Enterprise, Pride of of the South, Dunedin, and Court Royal Oak, Wyndham.
