The Rangers Second play a practice match on their groundAt last night's meeting of the Otago Referees' Association a communication was received from the Port Chalmers club inquiring whether Mr Proctor, the appointed referee, acted in [the Port Chalmers Second v. Pacific Second match. The secretary was instructed to communicate with Mr Proctor and ascertain if he fulfilled his engagement. —An application from the Oarnaru Football Club for the services of Messrs Campbell, Torrance, or Downes to control the contest between the Oamaru. and Athletic Clubs on Thursday, June 10, was received. Mr Campbell intimated that he 'rould not make the journey, and in the event of Messrs Downes and Torrance being unable to fulfill the engagement the secretary to supply the clubs engaged with a further list of the Association's members.—The Dunedin Club applied for Mr A. Downes to control the DunedinKaikorai match.
