DOMAIN BOARD.
At a meeting of the Ocean Beach Domain Board, held to-day, there wero present—Messrs N. Y. A. Wales (in the chair), H. Gourley, A. C. Begg, and Fisher. The request of the caretaker of the St. Olair Baths that £1 16s be provided to purchase cement, etc , to prevent the sand from coming into the baths, was acceded to. The following tenders for painting the caretaker's residence, boxes, etc., at the St. Clair Baths were left in the hands of Messrs Fisher and Hancoc'c to accept the lowest and most eligible of them : Messrs H. S. Fish. £l7; J. M'Kenzie, £l4; K. C. Bathurst, £1319s ; and Welbourne, £l2.
Applications as follow were also received for the position of caretaker at the baths:—Messrs Julius £35, Grimmett £27 10s, and Stark £3O. It was decided that the tender of Mr Stark be accepted on condition that he agree to a monthly payment in advance, the deposit tolie returned provided that a sufficient guarantee be given. __^_______
