STREAM AND SOURCE.
Slender the streams that flowOut of the clefts of the rock. JJut they widen into the river below, Where the shepherd waters hi 3 flock; And behind and above them all, The rivulets and the river, _,..,..„ The springs that are hjd in the heart of the mils Feed them in secret for ever._ Slender the streams of good That flow from the lives of men, But united they swell to a gracious flood That blesseth again and again : And, like thcJouhtains that feed The rivuletsand the river, ,- The wells of Hod's grace are the source of all good, And He is the secret Giver.
