The ss. Herald, with cargo from the West Coast, arrived at the Jetty street wharf at Ba.ro. to-day. The s.s. Napier left the Rattray Street'.wharf this afternoon for Fortrose. ''

The schooner Isabella Anderson is discharging cargo at the Rattray street wharf, The barque Alcoatis commenced discharging cargo at the Rattray street wharf to-day.' A second survey was held on the steamer Fifeshire by Captain Willis (representing Lloyd's) and Mr Roberts (representing the owners) on Tuesday. It is understood that the damage sustained by the steamer is of a more extensive nature than was at first supposed.—‘Press.’ The Taupo, on discharging her cargo of wool to the Perthshire, sails this evening for Lyttelton. The Star of the East was towed up to Dunedin this forenoon.

The ship Hollenwood, with a cargo of coal from Newcastle to San Francisco, arrived off the Heads this morning with her coal heated. She signalled for Lloyd’s surveyor, and Captain Willis (the representative of Lloyd’s) went out to the ship, which was brought inside the Heads, ponding arrangements for lightening her. She is the largest sailing vessel that has ever visited Lyttelton, being of 2.60 C tons register.—Noon. Blenheim, ship, from London.—Hauroto, from Dunedin. Telegraphic Notice Board.
