Delaware put in a sound two miles on the tan, moving freely and pulling up well, Oxide not being of'the slightest assistance to Jiim 'towards, the finish. Onward showed to more advanfcage'than Dreamland at the conclusion of a Strong mile and a-half gallop on the 'tan. Solanum and Waterfall went together eleven furlongs, the former apparently holding his own with the Cup winner. Hova did not go out of a canter, much to the dismay of the touts. Callura Mohr pulled up as fresh as a daisy after going two miles three furlongs at a Sound pace. Delaware and Gailum Mohr are the best-conditioned horses at Flemington.
A special Press Association message states: —" 'The Times' fears that ill-Health will interfere* with Park's chance in the Cambridgeshire, despite his good trip, and that the horse will not be able to display Ms true form. The ' Daily News' trusts that the horse will run up to the mark."
