WORK AND WAGES.
WAIMATE, Jvly 30, At the weekly Executive meeting of the New Zealand Workers’ Union the secretary was instructed to write congratulating the New South Wales Labor party on its success at the recent General Elections ; also to congratulate the Government on the success of the Liberal party of Now Zealand, as shown at the Auckland election. Regret was expressed at the Government not doing anything for the unemployed of this district.
