The amount of revenue collected at the Custom-house oh goods cleared to-day for consumption wns £3OG 2s sd. The amount of net Customs revenue collected at the Dunedin office thin month wan £32,469 19s 3d and the heer dirty £948 life 7d. For July of last year the Customs amounted to £31,587 St fid and the heer duty to £1,027 3s 4d. MINING NOTES. Mr Thomas Callender has received a telegram from the Matakitaki Gold Dredging Company intimating that 15oz 12gr of gold were got for 101 bourn’ dredging for the week ended the 2Bth Inst. The Upper Waipori Alluvial Gold Dredging Company obtained 220z I4dwt 12gr of gold for 150 hours’ dredging during the last two weeks, and the Jutland Flat Dredging Company 20oz 2dwt for 107 houn' actual dredging.—‘Tuapeka Times.’
