Mails close at the Chief Post Office, Dunedin (subject to any necessary alterations), as under; For Northern Ports, overland, daily, at 10.30 a.in., (J.P.O. Late letters, mail van, North train, at 11 a.m. Thursday. August 1. For Lyttelton, Christchurch, Northern Ports. Sydney, and Brisbane. Per Tara were, at l.nO p.m. Late letters, Port train, at 2.-V p.m. Frivj\y, August 2. For Northern Ports. — Per Anglian, at 12.20 p.m. Late letters, Chief Post Office, at 12.(10 p.m. Mails for Norfolk Island, per Southern Cross, close at Auckland on the 31st. at 11 a.m. For Tonga, Samoa, and Fiji, per Ovalau, from Auckland on the 31st, at 4 p.m. (Signed) Edm.
