ZINGARI-RICHMOND v. UNION. The meeting of these teams at Montccillo attracted a good deal of attention. No score was recorded in the first spell.
KAIKO.RAI v. UNIVERSITY. The University team went to Bishopscourt this afternoon and met the Kaikor.ii. Score at halfpast four: kaikorai 10 points, University nil. -
On the reclaimed ground this morning the Sixth Standard (Normal School) beat the Fi ftfi Standard (same school) by 15 points to 5. T. Smith scored for the losers, and M'Coy and Robertshaw for the winners.

Some twenty-five members (Mr J. B. Callan presiding) attended the annual meeting of the Dunedin Parliamentary Union held in the Chamber of Commerce last evening. The report (already published) and the balance-sheet were adopted without dissent. The various offices were filled as follow:—Council to control debates -Messrs A. H. Burton, C. Mouat, F. H. La-ing, R. C. lennent, and J. Richardson; clerk, Mr J. G. Moody; treasurer, Mr S. D. Croniu • chairman of committees, Mr J. W. Jago • Speaker, Mr J. B. Callan. Messrs E. Mel! laud and J. M'K. Henry were appointed auditors. It was resolved that the subscription be reduced from 10s 6d to 7s 6d for the session, and that the meetings be held on Friday evenings at 7.30 as hitherto. The following resolution was fixed for the subject of the debate at the inaugural meetin« of the session : —" That it is not desirable to prohibit immigration to this colony on account of the poverty or race of the individual." Twelve new members were proposed.
