THE BABY-FARMING CASE.
INVERCARGILL, May 23. The courthouse was crowded this morning when Minnie and Charles Dean were jointly charged with murder. Inspector Pardy stated that since the last remand he had ascertained that the name of the child taken by Mrs Dean from Winton on the 2nd May, and supposed to have disappeared between Dipton and Lumsdeu, was Dorothy Edith Carter. As the inquest was pending, a further remand was granted for seven days.
