Mails close at the Chief Post Office, Dunedin (subject to any necessary alterations), as under: For Northern Ports, overland, daily, at. 10.30 a.m., C.P.O. Late letters, mail van,. North train, at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 18. For Lyttelton, Christchurch, Northern Ports, and Australian Colonies, except Tasmania (connecting with Hauroto at Lyttelton). Mails close at 10.30 a.m. Late letters, mail van, North express, at 11 a.m. FEDERAL SERVICE Tuesday, May 21. For Southland, Australian Colonies(via Hobart), India, China, Japan, Straits Settlements; also for Cape Town (per Aberdeen line), Mauritius, Reunion (per French packet). Continent of Europe, United Kingdom, etc.—Per Talune, at 2.50 p.m. Money orders, registered letters, and newspapers, at 1.50 p.m.
Late letters, guard's van, Port train, at 3.35 p.m. Parcels post mails for the Australian Colonies will close at 4 p.m. on the ISth. (Signed) Edm. Cook, Chief Postmaster. Chief Post Office, May 16,1895.
