Dunedin, .December zo. Instead of paying taxes as ordinary mortals, the citizens of Klingenberg-on-the-Main (Germany) last year received each 300 marks from the income of several factories owned by the town. The division was made- after the expepses of administration had been paid by money from the same source. He: “ The best thing to seal a proposal is a kiss. Is it not ?” She : “ No. The best thing to seal a proposal is a witness.”
