ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.

The body of Carl Petersen, a seaman on the barque Elizabeth Graham, who has been missing since October 23, was found floating in the Lyttelton Harbor. A verdict of " Accidentally drowned" was returned. Louis Solomon, thirteen years of age, living in Frederick street, broke his arm below the elbow by falling from a tree yesterday, in Pitt street. He was attended to at the hospital. The Inspector of Police received u telegram from Constable King, of Milton, this morning stating that a man named Robert Scott is supposed to have been drowned at the Taieri Mouth last night. His boat and hat were found by the side of the river, but there is no trace of Scott.

The horses attached to a pair-horse cab, plying between Duncdin and Roslyn, took fright this morning in City road while coming to town, and, turning down the path near the old Observatory site, dashed into the gully, where they soon brought up. The driver received slight injuries, but the horses escaped. WELLINGTON, November 3.
