FOUND DEAD.

John Turnbull, ftn fcXptessman, residing ftt the cfciufct bf Duncan street and York blew, was found dead this morning. He left his homo at the usual hour, and wttd driving his express towards Mornlnglon, when, it is surmised, he Was overtaken by a fit, fell off the Vehicle, and died on the road. He Was found by two young men named John fthd James Scott, who, on noticing the ex* press on the road, went to see what Was the matter, and discovered Turnbull lying dead-. Deceased, who leaves a widow, was an elder in the First Church, and was highly respected. He was a very old idenuty, and was a member of the police force in Inspector Branigan’s time. An inquest will be held at deceased’s private residence in York place at 10.30 to-morrow morning.
