THE WEATHER.
Mr Paulin telephoned at 10 a.m. : " A cyclone moving in a S.E. direction is at the present time to the N.E. of I72deg E. The weather will continue fine for about sixteen hours, with moderate to strong tS.W. to W. winds and unsteady barometer.
At 1.30 p.m. we received this additional message: S.K winds, with squally weather and heavy cold rain showers within twenty-four hours. Indications stormy."
