ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
A boy named Edward Power, living at South Lhmedin, sustained nasty injuries to one of his feet yesterday through a dray passing over him. He was taken to the hospital, where it was found that although the foot was badly crushed no hones were broken.
A young man named Otto Swanson was brought to the hospital from East Taieii yesterday, suffering from a fracture of the left leg caused through the wheel of a loaded dray passing over him. The injured limb was set, and the patient is now progressing favorably. James Smith, over seventy years of age, was found dead in his bed at Alexandra South yesterday morning.
