THE KAIKORAI FOOTBALL GROUND COMPANY.

The annual meeting of the above company was held in the Council Chambers, Roslyn, on Friday evening. There were about thirty-five shareholders present; Mr Robert Chißholm in the chair.

The following were the principal clauses of the report -.—That £65 bad been spent on improving the ground, in draining, fencing, and clearing ; that the thanks of the company arc due to the Otago Rugby Football Union in paying up their shares in full; to Messrs Duncan and Macgrrgor for preparing prospectuses -and lloat ing company; to Messrs Wedge and Bcal for the valuable work done bv them in connection with the laying out of the" grounds; and to the chairman of directors for his invaluable assistance to the company, regardless of l>crsonal inconvenience.—The Uhaikman in a few well-chosen remarks moved the adoption of the report and balance-sheet, and Mr W. Wilkinson seconded the motion, whicli was cariiul unanimously. The following directors were elected for the ensuing year .-—Messrs Chisholm, Kemnit/, Farley, Duncan, Wilkinson, Millar, and M'Lellan ; hon. secretary and treasurer, Mr D. Duncan (re-elected); auditor, Mr A. Matheson. A vote of thanks to the retiring directois, secretary, and auditor terminated the meeting.
