ST. JOSEPH’S CATHEDRAL.

There was a very large congregation at St. Joseph’s Cathedral yesterday afternoon on the occasion of the inauguration of the “Association of Families Conseo-'ated to the Holy Family of Nazareth.” A number of appropriate hymns, including Aroadelt’s * Ave Marla,’ were sung by the choir, an address on the object of the Association was given by Father Lynch, and the solemn act of consecration was pronounced by the whole congregation. The scene was very impressive. Probably tho congregation was the largest that ever filled thdr Cathedral. Father Lynch said that the bishop, who, from pis window, watched his people com l ing_ to the church, was greatly pleased at the gathering and at the largo proportion of men that attended.
