H*rty and J, Wilson, with the following results : first-class light ales.—George M'Gavin's two exhibits are both awarded nrst prizes, being equal in merit; J. Speight and Co., 2 and 3. The judges remarked that J. Speight and Co.'s exhibit, which gauwd third prize, compared most favorably with the conditions of light ales. Medium ales. George M'Gavm 1, George M'Gavin aud Maurice Joel (equal) 2; J. Speight Heavy ales.—George M'Gavin 1, George M'Gavin and J. Snoight and Co. (equal) 2, Maurice Joel 3Porter in bulk.—W. Strachan 1, J. Speight and Co. 2, George M'Gavjn 3, Dunedin Brewery c. Bottled ale.—Maur(pe Joel 1, George M Gavm 2 and 3. Porter in bottle.—W. Strachan I, George M'Gavfn 2, Dunedin Brewery 3.
