ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
A girl, ten years old, named Mabel Dromgool, living at Ponsonby (Auokland), died from the effects of eating unripe fruit. ■ A boy named William Stevens, three and a-half years of age, has beep drowned in the Wanparoa Harbor. The body of James Ross, a miner drowned in the Kawaraußiver, was found oanght in the side lines of one of Mr Garde's dredges at Alexandra. .
Mr George Fox, a eettler, aged thirty* five, single, was drowned at Tanranga Bay, Cape Poulwind, while bathing. He was unable to swim, and the cnrrenfe took him out beyond bis depth, His body is unreoovered,
