POULTRY SHOW.

The «eoond Motion j>f the Ot*go toalkiry, Pigeon, Canary,, and Dog Club'» Snow-j-the dost having been disposed of. Mpar*tely earlier in the week;—was opened, tod*y Jn the City Hall, napeot to moat ofcjhe Blasses8 lasses we may say that the »how k ft-tery ne one, The fowls will well repay a olose inspection, the game, the Hamburgh golden[tenollled, the coohins, and the minoroas (the atter especially), being generally allowed to be the pick of the respective breeds. Pigeons are also, a feature of the .show, and breeders are loud in their praise ox the longfaced classes particularly suph as the. bonier, dragon, and Antwerp*, these being' to any exhibits of the kind ever seen in Danedin. In canaries it is rather strange that no Norwioh have come forward, but there is a capital bhow of Scotch fanoy, and among other oage-birds we notioe some fine thrushes and skylarks, and a kea—a novelty in local shows—is also on view, while a talking parquet comes in for general admiration. We regret that want of space prevents a detailed notice of the exhibits, but can assure our readers that they will find plenty to interest them in a walk round the hall, and the general management will, we feel sure, give satisfaction. The prizelist is as follows : SECTION 1.-POULTRY. GAME.
