THE COLONIAL PRIZE-FIRING MEETING.
All yesterday afternoon was devoted to the Nelson Match, and the weather remained fine and bright. At sCoyds Howe (Wellington) got on the possible, while Ross (Napier), A, Ballinger (Wellington), Gunderson (Christchurch), Richardson (Dunedin), air el Henderson (Auckland) were only 2 points behind. At (3Goyd& there wore no very largo scores, the best being Taylor (Auckland), Howe (Wellington), and Patrick (Waitahuna), each with 32. At 700 yds the shooting was better than in the morning, but with the exception r.f an excellent score mado by Robilliard (Kaiapoi), who missed both his sighting, but found the target when beginning lira business shot.?, there was nothing notable. His score (33) consisted of two iuners with fiiat and second shots, winding up with five consecutive bull’s-eyes. The following istheprize-liat : Nias on Match, f.CO, COO, and 700 yards.
