The position of secretary of the Congress Committee having been resigned by Mr Eeling, it has been decided to ask P. W. Tait, of Wellington, to undertake the duties. The next oongresß will be held at Christchurch. A difficulty has been discovered in connection with the Wellington regatta programme. The Committee advertised that the second-class championship yacht race is open to boats of between three and seven tons; whereas the rules of the New Zealaad Association provide that the contest is open to boats of not less than four tons, Unless some way out of the difficulty is arranged, several boats whioh intended to compete will be unable to do so.
