Three persons have been arrested in Warsaw and one in London on a charge of making bombs for anarohial purposes. It fa rumored that General Booth has nominated his eldest daughter to suooeed him as ohief of the Salvation Army. The Duke of Norfolk, Lord Coleridge, Lord Rosebery, Dr Dale, Dr Allan, and others of all ahadea of opinion have requested that a aite be granted in Oxford to erect a memorial to the late Cardinal Newman.
