THE WRECK OF THE FIJI.

The life-saving apparatus reached the Fiji Yesterday morning. Fifteen of the crew landed safely, bat twelve were drowned, The ship broke ap within ten minutes after Captain Viokera got on shore. Among those drowned are Brisbane (the first officer), Lardman (the third officer), and Farter (an apprentice). The rest are seamen, whose names have not been obtained. One man named Wilkinson swam back to the wreck to assist bin mate, and died of exhaustion on board. [Pkb Press Association.] MELBOURNE, September 8.
