Mails close at the Chief Post Office, Dunedin, subject to any necessary alterations, as under : For Northern Ports, overland daily, at 10.30 a.m., at Chief Post Office. Late letters, guard’s van, North train, at 11 a,m. Monday, September 7. For Lyttelton and Christchurch. Per Penguip, at 2.20 p.m. Late letters, C.P.0., at 2.30 p.m. Wednesday September 9. Mails for Coal Island will close at Dunedin at 7 a.m., to connect with the s.s. Invercargill at Invercargill.
