SUICIDE.
Further particulars about the man John Ford, who was found hanging by the neok in his residence at Parnell, Auckland, state that for some time past he has bean suffering severely from rheumatism. Mrs Ford idu#d her husband hanging at the back door of the bedroom, He had got a staple and driven it into the wall, and hanged himself with a clothes line. He left the following letter, addressed to his wife:—" My dear wife,rWhen yon get this note J will be no more, Poverty arid illness caused me to oommit the rash aot, I tried to work yesterday, but oould not. I haye brought trouble enough on you. That landlady said I was at work, and I was not. I have brought yon just Is fid in eight weeks; so good-bye, and God "bless you. May God have meroyon me." "
