PARIS, June 26. The municipal authorities have arranged to supply two million pounds weight of bread daily during the continuance of the bakers' strike. The butchers', bakers', and grocers' assistants are out on strike, and a conflict has taken place between them and the police, resulting in several of the strikers being nrrGstcd BRISBANE, June 27. The Shearers' Union have asked the Pastoralista' Association for an unconditional conference to debate the question of freedom of contract, MELBOURNE, June 27. A ballot is being taken by the shearers bb to whether the men are in favor of staying away from the sheds until the sheepownerß engage them through the Union office. So far the men are unanimously in favor of this course. EMPLOYERS' CONFERENCE. WELLINGTON, June 27. The Employers' Conference have finished their work, all but forwarding their views to the Government, which will be done on Monday. ~ The Conference view the Labor Bills with openly-avowed dislike—not on the ground that they are inimical to employers, but that, in their opinion, they will thwart the very objeot they aim at by rendering it impossible for employers to provide work for the men. They also take objection to the principle allegated to be underlying them—viz,, of excluding women and boys altogether from work. The Conference did not sit this morning, but at the final meeting on Monday it will be decided in what manner the resolutions arrived at shall be oonveyed to the Government. The Paris city bakers have Btruck, and intimate that they will remain oat until the registry office is abolished, The bakeries attached to the army are fully prepared to supply the citizens with bread. At a meeting of Ohristchuroh shearers it was decided to form a shearers and general laborers' anion.
