The richest man in the next American Congress will be Mr John L. Mitchell, Milwaukee, who is credited with a fortune of L 8,000,000 sterling, which he inherited from his father, the projector of the Chioago, Milwaukee, and St. Paul Railroad. Mr Mitchell, sen., was a native of Aberdeenshire, and laid the foundation of his great wealth as a banker in Milwaukee. The ' Post and Telegraph Gazette' is to be thrown into a Bmall company of 300 shareholders. We wish the movement every uccess.
