fiißw aw ucwß vvbib uru&en< Mr W. H. Bennie, who has been appointed to take charge of the Evansdale School, ceased work at the Port Obalmers District High School yesterday. Before leaving, the rector (Mr Chilton), on behalf of the members of the staff, presented him with a number .of .bonks as a memento of, the time .ho had spe|ilfat the school, and as a sign that he carried with him the best wishes of bis fellow • teachers, Mr Bennie suitably replied.
