JUDGE EDWARDS'S POSITION
WELLINGTON, Mat 4. It is understood that proceedings in the Edwards case will be commenced to-morrow by Mr Gully, as Crown Solicitor, in the name of the Attorney-General, and the form will be in the nature of quo warrantd to ascertain by what warrant Mr Edwards aots as judge; and if he sets up his commission, to pray that it be canedHed as it was issued illegally.
