INQUIRY WANTED.

Sir,— In your report of the Education Board meeting in last night's Star, I notice that a distinct denial is given to Mr Henderson's complaint that information reflecting on his—well, temper was sent to the Papakaio School Committee along with his application for the position of master of that school. Notwithstanding the denial, Mr Henderson's complaint is perfectly justifiable, and corresponds exactly with what a member cf the Papakaio School Committee told me when I made some inquiry why Mr Henderson's application was not favorably considered. The sooner the Board find out the truth of these reports, the better for the cause of education in Ocago.—l am, etc. F. A. Joseph. Dunedin, January 17.
