THE FLORAL AND CHORAL FESTIVAL REHEARSALS.

TO THE EDITOR. Sir,—While giving Mr Morgan every credit for his energy and perseverance in connection with the above, I think that your correspondent’ 11 Fitness in all Things ” has fair cause for complaint in that the girls are kept out so late at night. Be the hour 9 or 10 p.ra. when they reach home, it is certainly not “fit and proper that girls of tender years should be out alone at such a time, and it ill becomes the Otago Sunday School Union to encourage such practice. Why should not the rehearsals be held on Saturday afternoons ? The children would not then need to neglect their home lessons, nor run the risk of cultivating a “ larrikin ” spirit by being on the streets after dark.—l am, etc., Martha. Dunedin, September 28.
