The amount of revenue collected at the Custom-house on goods cleared to-day for consumption was L 728 4s 9d.
MINING NOTES. Th* following telegram, having reference to the Nenthorn reefs, was received by MrW. Hialop this afternoon“ Struck rich stone in low level Ormans. Vt ry strong lode. ” We understand from Mr Walter Hislep, broker to the company, that up to three o’clock this afternoon 4,000 shares In the Eureka Company (Nenthorn) had been applied for in Dunedin and Naseby, and that applications are coming iu freely. The allotment proceeds as applications are received
