On Saturday, 30th ult,, tho Engineers fired the final competition for prizes presented by Engineer J. J. Salmon and Messrs Thomson, Bridger, and Co. The Dunedin Highland Rifles, on Saturday, fired the final competition for Captain Gunn's medal and prizes presented by Lieutenants Henderson and M'Pherson. The number of competitors was very gratifying, being considerably more than at any contest during the past three years.
