Lochiel covered a couple of miles at a strong pace, the last part of the journey having Enid for a companion. Lady Norah did good strong work, and is improving daily. She will strip better in condition on Cup Day than was anticipated. Hilda, Antelope, Tartar, and Raglan performed serviceable work.
The best offer against Lochiel for the Cup is 5 to 2, but there are no takers ; Manton is at 3to 1 (offered); Hilda and Nelson, sto 1; British Lion, 7to 1.
