A curiosity of unique interest has lately been added to the collection of ancient musical instruments at Leipsv?. This is a specimen of the "bible-regale," of royal Bible. Externally it resembles an enormously bulky Bible of the Middle Ages, but on cjo&er inspection will be found to consist: of a wooden W containing a row of keys, some small pipes ftnd a miniature pair of bellows. The instrument, which emits; sounds powerful for its size and of a guttural quality, was used in village churches during the fifteenth' and sixteenth centuries for accompanying the choirs, ' ,;
